This Foundation course is an introductory course for the students who are beginning to learn singing. The student learns to sing the 7 notes in different styles and scales, melodies in notation and raga/folk songs of their choice.

Anhad Naad Hindustani Classical Vocals Method Book 1
This course is a beginner level curriculum of classical singing with practical and theoretical knowledge of Indian classical music. During this course, the student learns the basic concept of swar, taal and ragas of classical music.

ABGMVM Prarambhik - Level 1
Prarambhik is the first level of grade exam of Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal. In this course, students learn the basic voice culture, vocal warmup exercises, singing swar alankar, introduction to Raag Sangeet – Chota khayal.

Hindustani Classical Method Book 2 provides detailed study and preparation of important Ragas and Taals along with some theory topics. The student learns to have command over ‘Drut Khayal’ singing in different ragas with alaap and taan creation.

Anhad Naad Foundation is a cultural and educational institution based in Dwarka Sector 13, New Delhi, devoted to the promotion and preservation of Indian Music and performing arts. Founded and led by Gopal Jha, an accomplished flautist and dedicated music educator, the foundation envisions creating a vibrant community where music is experienced, shared, and celebrated.
Rooted in the Guru–Shishya Parampara, Anhad Naad Foundation offers structured training in Flute (Bansuri), Classical Vocal ( Singing), Guitar, Ukulele, , Sitar, Tabla, Pakhawaj, Mridang, Dance ( Kathak , Bharat- Natyam, western) ,Yoga, and Drawing (Art). Beyond classroom learning, the foundation ensures that every student receives stage exposure and performance opportunities through regular concerts, school programs, and cultural festivals — helping them build confidence, expression, and real-world musical experience.

Do you provide any study material with the course?
Yes! Once you become a Anhad Naad Foundation student, you will have access to all the resources you need from reading material to practise videos, and even tools like metronome, music sheets, backing track and more.You will find all the resources on your student dashboard.
Do you teach adults?
Yes. At Anhad Naad Foundation of Music, there is no age barrier to start learning something new. There is no better proof of it than our cohort. Our youngest student is 6 years old and our oldest student is 53 years old.
Which instrument model should I purchase?
Once you enrol with us, our counsellor will guide you through the process of choosing the right model based on your budget and preferences.
Do you teach Grade Exams and provide certifications?
Yes, we prepare you for Trinity, exam. You can discuss with your counsellor and pursue any of these certifications.
Will there be a Theory or Practical Exam at the end of the course?
Our primary aim is to offer holistic music education. This is why, for the final assessment, we ask you to submit a video answering some theory questions and a performance piece.
